HIGH LOW

Hi everybody!

Hope you're all doing well since it's already Thursday:) When I was at the Tally Weijl Event last Friday I got myself a so-called high-low skirt in black. I know this kind of skirts and dresses have been around for some time but I always thought it will never look good on me because I'm tiny and I haven't got the nicest legs lol. But when I saw this skirt in store I thought I'll give it a try:) Hope that I can do an outfit post soon:)

Wie schön, es ist schon Donnerstag:) Ich zähle die Stunden bis zum Wochenende hihi. Ich finde Donnerstagabende eigentlich ganz gemütlich - womöglich weil ich weiss, dass morgen Freitag ist und ich somit nur noch 8.4h arbeiten muss und danach Wochenende gilt. Macht das Sinn?:) Aufjedenfall möchte ich euch heute meine neue Beute zeigen. Es ist ein sogenannter asymetrischer Rock von Tally Weijl in Schwarz. Ich hab ihn mir letzte Woche am Tally Weijl Event in Basel gekauft. Diese high-low Schnitte sind ja schon länger im Trend, jedoch dachte ich, es sieht bei mir bestimmt nicht toll aus, da ich klein bin und nicht gerade die schönsten Beine habe. Wäre ja schade um diesen Rock:) Als ich ihn im Laden entdeckte, nahm ich ihn aus Neugier mit in die Umkleidekabine und jaa... sieht gar nicht sooo schlecht aus. Ich hoffe, dass ich euch bald wieder mit einem Outfitpost beliefern kann:)

Hi lovely readers

This is a quick update about a "little" change on my blog. I've often made some thoughts about writing my posts in German too, since I recognized that most of my readers are from Germany and Switzerland. When I started this blog in July 2011 I decided to write in English because 1) I wanted to improve my English and 2) also get to know readers from different countries around the world. And English for sure is kind of a language everybody understands in a way. I'm not a pro in English and I also have lack of vocabulary. That's why I often kept my posts really simple and I hope it was comprehensible for you to read so far:) The actual problem is, that I sometimes want to express more but on the other hand I can't, so my posts sometimes look very superficial. Now I have decided that I'll blog in two languages for the future. I think some posts will be more important to write in both languages than others, but you will see! I hope you don't mind:) And I'm looking forward to having interesting conversations with my German-speaking readers too <33

Hallo liebe Leser

Das ist ein Update über eine "kleine" Veränderung auf meinem Blog. Ich habe mir schon öfters Gedanken darüber gemacht mein Blog auf Deutsch zu führen, da mir aufgefallen ist, dass meine meisten Leser aus Deutschland und der Schweiz kommen. Als ich im Juli 2011 diesen Blog startete entschied ich mich fürs Englische 1) weil ich mich in der Sprache verbessern und 2) Leute aus aller Welt kennenlernen wollte. Und Englisch ist natürlich eine Sprache, mit der man überall "gut klarkommt", auch ohne jedes Wort richtig verstehen zu müssen. Ich bin kein Profi im Englischen und bei mir im Wortschatz fehlt immernoch Einiges. Das ist auch ein Grund weshalb ich meine Einträge bis anhin immer sehr einfach gehalten habe. Der Auslöser dieser Veränderung war jedoch, dass ich manchmal das Bedürfnis hatte mehr Persönlichkeit oder Tiefe in ein Thema zu bringen, was aber leider nicht ging. Dadurch sahen meine Einträge halt sehr oberflächlich und eben "simpel" aus. Nun habe ich entschieden mein Blog in Zukunft zweisprachig zu führen (Ich denke einige Einträge werden wichtiger in zwei Sprachen zu schreiben sein als andere, aber ihr werdet sehen) - ich hoffe euch gefällts, auch wenn ich keine grossartige Schreiberin bin:)

TALLY WEIJL EVENT

Hi lovies!

How did your weekend start? I feel like I had an endless night yesterday:) After I finished work I directly took the train to Basel (it's about a 50 minutes drive from Zurich) to attend the 20 years Tally Weijl Branch in Basel Event. Some Swiss bloggers (Amy, Nhat-Ha, Sarah & Sarah) were invited to be stylists for the VIP guests, so we could show them around, pick clothes for them, get to know them and of course enjoy the snacks and drinks. All balloons, bunnies and other decorations were pink - very girly - and so was my outfit:) The DJ's, photographers and hosts were entertaining as well. All in all it was a nice experience. I also got myself a high-low skirt, but I'll show it to you later. After the event I came back to Zurich to continue partying with some friends! Sometime in the early morning I was on my way home lol.

SUNNY HEART

Good evening all my dears:)

Right now I'm watching Jersey Shore their latest episode haha, I love them! Those guidos make me laugh all the time, their jokes, sayings and dramas are hilarious:) I know some people don't like them, but I really do. Beach, Party, Friends and no worries, what do you want more lol. Todaaay you're seeing my new sunnies from H&M - bought them because they were too cute! Look at the little heart <3 and it's a light rose which I also really like. Sun! Come out!!!

Hi Lovies <33

How are you today? Monday hmm..? I hope you all had a good weekend because I really did:) On Sunday the weather was finally warm enough to wear a skirt - outfit-post is coming soon! I really have to wear skirts more often - that's why I decided to just do a post about it and share the photos and pieces with you:) One reason for skirts is also that I need a bit more tanned legs since my arms and feets are getting darker but my legs are still white like cheese (it's a Swiss expression lol). I really love all kind of skirts, my favourites are those which are a bit outstanding and "special". I also love combinations with uni-color skirts and flashy shirts. As you can see in the photos above there's also an option to wear short skirts with a knit pullover (!) and then you can also decide if you want to wear it over or under the skirt... there are so many possibilities - just be creative and colorful;)

AO DAI TRADITION

Hello sweeties!

What a wonderful Satuday:) Still a bit windy but sunny! Maybe some of you are familiar with the "dress" above? It's a traditional Vietnamese costume which is also known as "Ao Dai". Whenever I have this on I feel really feminine and I also feel like having endless legs since the trousers are high-waisted lol. There are also two pieces in front and back which makes your body look thinner. Most of those outfits are made out of silk. You can have them in any color and form. There are different necks, sleeves and lenghts. I have about 10 of them, all of mine are tailored (in Vietnam) because 1) It's affordable. 2) You're sure that it fits your body perfectly. For today I choosed a floral one with spring/summer colors. I wear this whenever there is a traditional event (wedding, church in general...). In Vietnam "Ao Dai" is also used as school or work uniform. Hope you enjoyed the photos and learnt something more about my culture;)

DIESEL x DUCATI

Hiii everybody

I hope you had a good week so far:) Today I had the day off because it's a festive day (we celebrate the Ascension Day), does your country also gives you a free day therefor? I want to show you a little impression of the Diesel Event I went to on Wednesday and which I felt very honored for. Two Italian brands Diesel and Ducati collaborated for the new collection. Included are biker leather jackets, sweats, jeans and many more with bold graphics. Unfortunately there are no pieces for women in this collection but I really enjoyed the event:) I've met some nice people and also other bloggers which was really cool. One more thing to say: in the store they offered us the BEST Hot Dogs ever <33
